FAQs

How do I enroll my child?

Enrollment at Baile Dior Studios opens annually in September. We do not offer continuous enrollment throughout the year to ensure dancers receive intentional, cohort-based training that supports long-term growth and readiness.

Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date on enrollment dates, auditions, and upcoming events.

How long is training, and when can my child perform?

Dancers are required to complete a minimum of 3 months of training before becoming eligible to audition for the Performance Team.

After 7 months of consistent training and performance, dancers may be invited to audition for the Competition Battle Squad.
Please note: Additional fees apply for competition-level participation.

What genres do you offer?

Baile Dior Studios offers training in the following dance genres:

  • Majorette (J-Sette) – High-energy, HBCU-inspired dance style that emphasizes precision, showmanship, and performance attitude

  • Hip-Hop – Focus on rhythm, grooves, freestyle, and street dance fundamentals

  • Jazz – Technique-driven style with sharp lines, turns, and expressive movements

  • Contemporary – Emotional storytelling through fluid, expressive, and grounded movement

  • Ballet – Classical foundation for posture, flexibility, alignment, and technical control

  • Expressions – Creative movement and emotional awareness designed to support self-expression, especially for younger dancers

These genres are taught within our cohort model, allowing students to train in multiple styles each week.

How many classes should my child take?

Monthly tuition starts at $250 and includes:

  • Three weekly cohort classes

  • Access to studio resources

  • Seasonal performance opportunities

This structure ensures dancers receive well-rounded training in multiple genres while building technical skill, confidence, and stage readiness. We recommend full cohort participation to maximize growth and advancement.

Are there any additional fees outside of monthly tuition?

Yes. In addition to monthly tuition, dancers are responsible for the following expenses, which may vary depending on their training level and performance schedule:

  • Practice and uniform attire

  • Solo registration fees for performances or showcases

  • Travel and lodging for competitions and out-of-state events

These costs are communicated in advance and broken down by training phase: Training, Performance, and Competition.
